VERDICT : FLOP
Vellaripravinte Changathi has a very good cast and a sincere story, but never took off at the boxoffice. The slow narrative style did not go well with the audience and the film struggled to find takers amongst bigger ventures like Oru Marubhomi Katha and Venicile Vyapari. The movie played for 4660 shows before terminating its theatrical run after 38 days. The satellite righta saved the producer from burning his hands, but it could not prevent the loss. A rare failure for Dileep - Kavya Madhavan combo.
