The return of Jayaram - Kamal combo after a gap 12 years did have its own moments, but were a bit too little in number and too scattered across the movie. The film started slow and could not pick up as the content was pretty average. The audience could have guessed what the next dialogue will be even in their sleep. But the one thing which works for such comic-melodramas, is the relentless support from family audiences. Jayaram still remains the Favourite Hero for families, his antics and complete failure of other releases saved the film to an extent
